Salaam alaikum everyone, Amin here! See the picture of that basketball player? That's Kareem Abdul Jabbar. He holds the record for scoring the most points ever: 38,387.

Did you know basketball was invented over 120 years ago? At that time, they didn't use "hoops" like we do today. They actually used peach baskets, so each time a team scored, the referee had to climb a ladder to get the ball back out!
