Story 1: In Allah’s Orbit
Asad presents a project on the solar system in class, after which Mr. Salman let’s him borrow the school telescope. At home Asad’s parents discuss hajj and how Muslims keep Allah as the central focus of their lives just as the Ka’ba is the center of Tawaf and Muslims gravitate towards it for piety. Asad is repeatedly unable to use his telescope and once its time for salah he’s torn between his telescope and prayer. He decides to keep Allah at the center of his life and prays first, and afterwards finally finds the time to explore the night sky with his telescope.
Story 2: Lost and Found
Summary: Amira explores the new Bass Lake Park with her parents. She enjoys all the new rides but eventually chases the feature attraction of the park, the Beaming Blue Butterfly and gets lost in the cornfield maze. She recites a verse of the Quran to comfort herself and then puts in an effort to find a way out. On observing birds chirping at each other, she shouts for her parents' help and they come find her.
