The Summer Project:
Since launching, Noor Kids has sold almost exclusively online, direct-to-consumers. Earlier this year we began selling on an ad-hoc basis to retailers and Islamic schools in small quantities. After achieving initial success, we are now looking to expand our retail sales operations by doing the following:
- Market Identification: Identify 5-10 cities within the US & Canada to target retail sales
- Customer Sales: Identify and contact 1-3 strategic customers in each of market
- Point-of-Sale Display: Find a point of sale solution and design display with our designers
- Sales Collateral: Develop additional sales collateral, as necessary
You will be working directly with our highly experienced executive team, Mohammed Aaser and Amin Aaser.
Qualifications:
- Academic training in sales, marketing, entrepreneurship, or other related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interest in American Muslim community
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated work style
- A time commitment 10 hours per week for 6-8 weeks
