  • Amin Aaser, Managing Director

    Amin is a general business manager with cross-functional experience across finance, marketing, and manufacturing at Fortune 500 companies such as General Mills, Target Corporation, and 3M. Most recently, Amin serveAd on the M&A and Corporate Venture Capital team at General Mills. Amin earned an MBA at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. Aside from Noor Kids, Amin loves discovering new hiking trails, practicing his ujjayi breath during yoga, and brushing up his culinary skills to someday compete on Chopped.

  • Annie Idris, Art Director

    Annie is an illustrator, artist, and designer based in Toronto. She has a background in art, architecture, and landscape from the University of Toronto. She draws traditionally as well as digitally. Her signature style is whimsical and slightly humorous, drawn in watercolor and ink. The theme of her art is based on pop culture and inspirations from daily life. A few of her favorite illustrators are Oliver Jeffers, Mattias Adolfsson, and Quentin Blake.

  • Armaan Siddiqi, Islamic Researcher

    Armaan is a Bay Area native with both a personal and professional interest in Islam and Islamic pedagogy. Aside from her academic focus on Islamic law and spirituality, she is also passionate about working within the Muslim community—especially in service of Muslim youth, and exploring the dynamics of the “Muslim American” experience post-9/11. She holds a B.A. and M.A. degree in Anthropology and Middle Eastern Studies, and is a PhD candidate in Islamic Studies at the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations at Harvard University. In her free time, she enjoys traveling abroad, studying Arabic, and exploring the outdoors!  

  • Emad Kazi, Marketing Director

    Emad Kazi is a well-rounded internet business professional who has spent his career in Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, and Business Operations functions at top global consumer and tech companies Beats by Dr. Dre and SurveyMonkey. He is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, where he received his degree in Psychology and Social Behavior. Through his time in high school and college, Emad dedicated the majority of his time volunteering and helping develop programs for his local masjid youth group and college MSA in Southern California. He currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his wife, reading books pertaining to Islamic development and personal growth/management, and rooting for the Los Angeles Lakers.  

  • Kenneth Molloy, Creative Developer

    Kenneth Molloy is a writer and teacher of writing based in Massachusetts. Currently, Kenneth is a PhD candidate in Dramaturgy at Harvard University. He holds an MFA in Dramaturgy from Harvard University and a BFA with honors in Dramatic Writing and Classics from New York University. Kenneth's plays have been produced at the American Repertory Theater and in the New York International Fringe Festival. He is a National Endowment for the Humanities grant recipient and dolphin enthusiast.

  • Maryum Mohsin, Instructional Designer

    Maryum is an Instructional Designer of K12 Digital Learning content and a Reviewer of Professional Development learning materials. She received her B.A., Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Minnesota (too many years ago); and oddly discovered that there is no end to ‘Knowing.’ In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and laughing with her family.

  • Nadia Almosawi – Customer Operations Manager

    Nadia recently graduated from Hamline University with a B.A. in Marketing and Management. During her time at Hamline, Nadia dedicated her time to educate students about Islam by serving on Student Government and by serving as the President of the Muslim Student Association. She received many awards for her work, including the "Samuel Louis Parish" Award, which was given to the student who contributed most effectively during the year in religious leadership on campus. Nadia is an excessive Starbucks drinker, a big Real Madrid supporter, and a professional Netflix (delete extra space before “professional”) binge-watcher.

  • Sam’n Iqbal

    Sam’n Iqbal was introduced to the “ABCs of Islam” early in life—both at home and within her masjid, the Islamic Society of Central Jersey. Now a two-time graduate of New York University, she holds a Masters in Bicultural School Counseling, and is the author of the Islamic children’s books, Allah to Z. She is currently a member of the ADAMS Center in Northern Virginia, and resides with her husband and three children in the Washington, D.C. area.  

  • Sana Aaser, Education Director

    Sana is a leader in equity and social justice education. She received her M.A. in Education from San Francisco State University, where she was recognized with the University's highest honors for her original research on American Muslim identity among young children. Prior to joining Noor Kids, Sana was a fellow with New Sector Alliance and with Education Pioneers. With her natural curiosity to understand people and their many intersecting identities, Sana applies her knowledge of the social sciences to the field of education, engaging in research, curriculum design, and development. When she is not studying, Sana enjoys hiking in the sunshine, writing creative nonfiction, and experimental cooking.  

  • Shireen Momin, Customer Relations

    Shireen holds a B.S. from University of Minnesota, with concentrations in economics, entrepreneurial studies, and leadership. Prior to joining Noor Kids, Shireen worked in marketing and finance with Target Corporation and Yokogawa Corporation of America. Shireen spends the better part of her days reading, laughing, and playing with her two adorable children, Aasiya and Salmaan. Each day, Shireen motivates herself by striving to make the world a little better than the day before.
